Module 11: Lifestyle Medicine in Pediatrics
Overview:
Module 11 examines evidence-based lifestyle medicine strategies to promote health and prevent chronic disease across pediatric populations, from infancy through adolescence. Learners will apply core lifestyle medicine pillars—including whole-food, plant-predominant nutrition, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, substance avoidance, and social connection—to the prevention and management of common pediatric conditions using developmentally appropriate, family-centered approaches.
Please note: Module 11 is a supplemental module and is not required for LMMSC completion. Completion of Module 11 can count toward the flexible application activity requirement.
